To have color, or not to have color, that is the question.

So as I am further developing my cover image for SoNS, I have run into quite the standstill in terms of decision making.

Do I use eye-catching colors that feel more whimsical than the theme of the game, or do I use  colors that more represent the game, but less eye catching?

I'm leaning toward the second, but yet still have the worrying in the back of my head that it won't draw enough eyes to the audience. They say dont judge a book by it's cover, but lets be real...we all do it.

So which do you think I should go with?
