Week 1: Development
The first week of development was mainly focused on getting the crank working.
We were able to achieve this by having the script choose a random number between 1-5 and then assign that many cranks to the ingredient list.
On the programming side, the script generated an "Order String", which consisted of the input that the computer was looking for, in this case the "w" key that is triggered by the Makey-makey we're using.
This screenshot is from a later point in development, but the ticket does indeed recognize the amount of cranks needed. This was all we were able to get finished programming-wise for the first week as the initial progress was lost. However the knowledge learned from the (admittedly shoddy) first attempt allowed us to make the ordering system better behind the scenes and a lot more modular than it was before.
